HEART OF THE HOME
This first-floor guest room, once the original kitchen, still maintains the original 1806 cooking fireplace trimmed by wide plank moldings and rich pumpkin wide-pine wood floors. A large bay window lets in plenty of light and high ceilings add to the feeling of spaciousness and airiness of this charming room.
This large room is furnished with a king-size polished-metal bed dressed with fine bedding. Comfy reading chairs give you a place to relax at the end of the day. Enjoy the luxury of the spacious tile bath with whirlpool tub and shower. Air conditioning keeps you comfortable during the Summer months.
This room features a second, private entrance onto the garden patio.
A Charming and Excellent Historic Maine Inn
I visited this lovely inn over the Veterans Day weekend as part of the free Bed and Breakfasts for Veterans program. I’d highly recommend it. The room I stayed in was the Lupine room which was very cute, clean and cozy. It was like staying in a mini cabin. The little fireplace made the room very warm since the weather was cold. The morning breakfast was delicious and very filling. On my last day because I had to leave early Gary and James very nicely made me a delicious breakfast. I’d highly recommend this inn as a perfect place to stay while in Camden, Maine.”
