One of the oldest homes in Camden, this authentic New England Colonial is a fine example of preservation and restoration. Original wide pumpkin-pine floors, windows, and the original 1806 cooking stove and fireplace maintain the historical and architectural integrity of the home.
All guestrooms are individually decorated and feature Queen or King beds with custom linens, private bathrooms, deluxe amenities, and modern conveniences.
A comfortable Keeping Room welcomes guests to gather and relax by the fireplace and enjoy lively conversation, relaxing chairs, good music, and a guest pantry. During the summer months, enjoy a large outdoor garden patio area tucked away for a bit of quiet and escape after a busy day! Walk to the harbor, shops, galleries, and restaurants or hike the many trails of Camden Hills State Park and Mt. Battie with spectacular views of the bay. Camden is ideally located for day trips north to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park or south to the outlets in Freeport.
Each morning, be our guest for a delicious breakfast that changes daily. When possible, we partner with small farms and local suppliers, always using seasonal and fresh ingredients. From farm to table, a simple breakfast....done right.
The patios, gardens and Keeping Room are perfect spots for relaxing between the day’s adventures and for spending time with guests or your innkeeper hosts.
During your stay, look at the paintings throughout the B&B. We are pleased to display original works of art from artists including Alexander Calder, Edward Muegge Schiwetz, Robert Aillaud Ayo, Joseph Orr, Rita Orr, Jake Marshall, Brian Grubb, and others.
